Exhibition of works by West Horndon Art Group, plus Demonstrations, Sale of Art Materials/Books, & Have-A-Go opportunities for Kids. Refreshments. Half of proceeds to Charity.

About the event
The day is one for anyone with an interest in art, either expert, or a mildly interested observer!
It is a free entrance event, held in the well-appointed Village Hall in West Horndon.
Apart from an Exhibition of artworks (most for sale) by the 50-odd members of the West Horndon Art Group, there are three 45-minute demonstrations of various painting techniques. Additionally, there are several 'artists at work', available to watch and quiz, or chat with. We always have a 'Have-a-Go' stand to allow youngsters (and often not-so-young!) to try their hand at painting.
Our 'New & Nearly New Art Materials' stall is popular, with many bargains, including scores of Art Books.
No get-together would be complete without a raffle, & tea/coffee & home-made cakes from the 'Art Cafe'.
Any proceeds are split equally between the Art Group funds, & our chosen Charities of the Year.
